ADDITIONAL MUSINGS…
This summer has been a journey of visions coming to fruition and we are incredibly grateful for the team at the Granary and the wonderful community that surrounds us.  Some of what’s been happening…

Sandhill cranes on the Silos!
Historic Hayden Granary Inc (the non-profit arm of the Granary), partnered with Colorado Crane Conservation Coalition to bring artist Dan Toro to the Granary for a spectacular mural… come visit them!

Support Historic Hayden Granary!
We have created a non-profit 501c3 organization, Historic Hayden Granary Inc., with a mission to preserve the iconic Hayden Granary building as a community gathering place.  We are still fundraising to help offset the costs of the crane mural and, as we embark on future restoration and stabilization of the Granary, welcome your support. Please visit the website at  www.haydengranary.org to learn more and to make your donation today.

Hayden Video!
Check out the new Hayden Valley Schools campus for a virtual tour and a focus on what’s exciting in our little Town… Also at www.haydenschools.org

Grateful for the Brinkmans…
We are so grateful for the Granary’s partnership with Paul and Chresta Brinkman and congratulate Paul on his recent well-deserved Distinguished Engineering Alumni award from CU-Boulder School of Engineering.

Ride the Cog and Wednesday Night Gravel Rides
We are proud to say that Ride the Cog is back this year on September 18.  Come enjoy a wonderful bike ride and support the Hayden Heritage Center and Historic Hayden Granary.  More here: https://www.haydenheritagecenter.org/fundraiser-event-hayden-cog-ride

Also, we have been riding weekly gravel bike rides from the Granary on Wednesday evenings this summer.  The longer ride (+/- 30 miles) leaves at 5:00 and is conducted at a moderate pace.  The shorter ride (+/- 20 miles) leaves at 5:30 and is a “no drop” ride. Come join the fun!

Salt Shed Flats
The Salt Shed Flats are rapidly progressing and our old feed and salt warehouse is starting to look like a great place to come and stay in Hayden!  These are ready on September 1st and the Steamboat Pilot’s article captured it nicely.

And coffee and baked goods too!
Many of you have noticed we have our daughter Millie back and thrilled that she’s helping Patrick and Adam with the morning baking!  Come and sample some extraordinary goods… with fresh local eggs and sausage from Hayden Fresh Farms; greens from Mountain Bluebird Farm and honey from Outlaw Apiaries, we are able to bring the finest ingredients and fresh baked goodness to you daily (except Sunday of course) and always made with love!

Hope to see you soon!  Our Wild Goose Coffee hours remain from 7am-1pm, Monday through Friday and on Saturdays 7am-12noon.
Cheers,
Tammie
